You have back up – Oh yes you do – Work in a team of two – Report to the Payroll Manager.

My client is a manufacturing supplier to the building industry, who are extremely stable and have an amazing reputation in the market.  They are currently seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator who is ready to step up into a Payroll Officer role and report to the Payroll Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Processing weekly, monthly, and bi-weekly payroll for 500 employees
  • Ensure compliance with NZ payroll legislation.
  • Manage and maintain accurate payroll records.
  • Provide technical advice and support to the team.
  • Maximize the use of MS Excel, Affinity Payroll, SAP, and other systems.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2+ years of experience in payroll
  • Experience using a complex payroll system.
  • Strong understanding of NZ payroll legislation
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate and personable with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
