Sole Charge Payroll Officer $45-70 PH
Hourly Rate Contract – 3 Months.
25 Hours Per week
Flexible working – Wellington CBD Based
Start – 2^nd Week December 2023.

I am looking for a Payroll Contractor to look after a monthly payroll run of about 400 Salaried staff.

• The group has 3 entities and run a simple payroll once a month.
• BAU Payroll
• System: Affinity – Processing is outsourced – They will collate and put into the system
• This is not end to end payroll – Outsourced organisation will send file back to review and you will send to Manager for approval that provides another level of review.

Experience required:

• Basic understanding of Payroll
• Legislative Expertise in payroll-related Acts, including Holiday Act, Employment Relations Act, KiwiSaver Act, and more.
• Strong Problem-Solving with logical analysis and resolution skills.
• Proven experience as Sole charge Payroll Officer
• Understanding of how final Pay is calculated.
• Attention to detail.
• Collation of information
