My client is looking for a confident Project Coordinator in the IT Project Delivery and Change Team. The role will be supporting the successful delivery of technology projects and initiatives through the provision of project coordination and administration duties for projects and their associated governance and assurance processes.
  • Perm position
  • Salary up to $85,000
  • Wellington location with flexible working
  • Open to NZ citizens and NZ Perm Residents only
Duties include:
  • Support improved efficiency in the delivery of technology projects and initiatives by contributing to continuous improvements in the provision of project coordination and administration responsibilities and associated governance and assurance processes.
  • Working closely with two Project Managers, project teams and the Technology team
  • Providing project, logistical and general coordination support to projects
  • Juggle and manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • General administration for ISD
Person ideally will be and have:
  • Experience working in a project coordination role across multiple projects concurrently.
  • Experience maintaining project finances.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining project plans.
  • Experience using JIRA issue and project tracking software.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams)
  • Knowledge of project management processes and practices, tools and techniques desirable.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Flexible and highly adaptable to ever changing priorities.]
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • High level of organisational and planning ability
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain constructive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a high level of confidentiality and security of information and data at all times.
  • Editing and proofreading skills
  • High degree of initiative and personal drive
  • Ability to work with and relate to people from all walks of life.
  • Ability to work across different teams in a consultative and collaborative manner.
  • Experience in a regulatory environment is desirable.
  • Ability to work in a culturally safe and respectful manner, always being mindful of the cultural diversity of the industry and having regard to Te Ao Māori and Treaty of Waitangi principles.
