The history of this company spans several generations of Kiwis and remains NZ owned and operated today. They have grown into being a key advisor across all aspects of property development, including design and cost advisory, and build delivery. Their Build team is experiencing exceptional growth. They are now seeking to appoint an experienced project manager to front the build programme working with client side PM's for multiple housing projects, mostly Kainga Ora as their key client.
Reporting to a PM, your key accountabilities are:
- Management of the enstire project from planning through completion Manage the full project operation from project methodology and buildability through to completion
- Monitoring of all processes in order to ensure the highest quality of work is produced, plus ensuring site staff are well mentored
- Stakeholder management, Sub contractor management, supplier management and staff management
Key background for this role requires:
- 10+ years experience in the multi residential/commercial construction/building industry in NZ with a trade background
- Experience across $10M+ commercial construction projects or multi unit housing construction plus subdivisional experience for housing developments would be beneficial
- Solid leadership ability and ability to mentor and manage SM's
- Strong organisational and time management skills as well as strong problem solving ability
- Well experiened in successfully managing a programme using software and working in with QS's to manage financial returns
- Health and Safety leadership
Remuneration - $130K - $150K + vehicle pending experience
