About the role:

We are working closely with a number of reputable and professional Auckland based chartered accounting firms requiring skilled BAS Accountants. If you are an experienced BAS Accountant looking for a new environment and a change in the clients you service we may have an opportunity which suits. Our clients are looking for motivated and skilled BAS accountants with strong NZ Tax knowledge and experience. Duties:

• Preparing annual financial statements & compliance.
• Producing GST, FBT, Income Tax returns.
• Preparing client advisory documents.
• Producing business valuations.
• Analysing accounts and offering meaningful advice to clients.
• Preparation of management reports, budgets and forecasts.
• Providing systems advice.

Skills & experience:

• CA Qualified.
• 3+ years accounting experience with a NZ CA firm.
• 3+ years of NZ Tax filing experience. 
• Ability to visit and consult with clients.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to extract information from various IT systems.
• High standard of work, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Be able to hit the ground running.
• Strong Excel, Word, and report writing skills.
