The Role:
This newly created senior role reports to the Head of Finance in New Zealand and plays a crucial role in analysing financial data providing valuable insights and supporting strategic decision-making.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Build financial models and forecasts to support strategic decisions
- Monitor key metrics and identified performance trends
- Deliver financial reports and dashboards to senior leaders and operational teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally to create tailored reporting tools
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to inform strategy
- Assess financial risks and proposed mitigation plans
- Conduct budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Support financial system upgrades and process improvements
About You:
The successful candidate must have the following:
- Relevant degree and ideally CA/CPA/CIMA qualified
- 5+ years FMCG or Manufacturing experience within New Zealand
- Strong cost accounting, financial analysis and modelling experience
- Ability to work at pace but still be accurate and have attention to detail
- System savvy and can work with large data sets.
Your professional hard-working attitude and experience in a commercial environment with a down-to-earth team will stand you in good stead for securing this role.
