This role calls for an experienced ER Advisor with a keen eye for problem-solving and a passion for leading and influencing. Based in the Hutt Valley region of Wellington, you'll find yourself in an environment where your skills are valued, and your expertise make a real difference.
  • Contract Senior Employee Relations Advisor role available immediately for four weeks with potential for extension.
  • Permanent Senior Employee Relations Advisor role available and paying between $95,000.00 - $100,000.00 depending on experience.
  • Located in the vibrant Wellington/Lower Hutt region.

In this role, you'll engage in coaching, negotiation, relationship building, problem-solving, and analytical observation. Leverage your knowledge of New Zealand employment legislation to hit the ground running and add value from day one!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and promote diversity awareness.
  • Provide accurate advice on ER/HR matters.
  • Drive performance management and refine ER policies and processes.
  • Prepare legal briefs as needed.
  • Support strategic and operational engagement initiatives.

To excel in this role, you'll need:
  • Three or more years of proven experience in Employee Relations or Employment Law.
  • A solid grasp of NZ legislation.
  • Exceptional organisational abilities.
  • A knack for building rapport across all levels, coupled with sound judgment and discretion.
  • Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Comfort in both collaborative and independent work settings.
