They are systemised, have preferred contracts with trade merchants and have forward work planning processes down pact. Adding to this they have a bright team in place with a great focus on staff welfare and wellbeing ensuing that their staff are looked after.
They are now looking for a Senior QS to provide project commercial leadership.
Your role involves:
- Completing job estimates/tenders
- Contract administration
- Financial reporting and variations
- Orders preparation
- Supplier management/negotiating
- Team management
- Site visits during construction
Key background:
- 8 + years of residential QS experience including knowledge of NZ Building Code and construction contracts including 3910.
- Tertiary qualified with a Diploma/Bachelors degree in CM/QSing
- Top communication, negotiation and relationship building skills
- Strong financial nous, excellent pricing systems skills
- Accuracy
- Drive and want to build a career within this company
