Senior Quantity Surveyor

This is a long-standing design and build construction company that have tackled a range of projects across many categories, in the $5M - $60M range. They have stood the test of time and seen several booms and bust construction periods. They are actively participating in the tender market but have range of regular clients that offer repeat business.

They have an active current project that needs a Project QS across it plus they are looking to grow the role into a Team Leadership role providing training and mentoring to a team. There is good progression opportunity in the business.

Key components of this role involve:


* Scheduling/estimating
* Tender preparation and analysis
* Building consents
* Bills of quantities
* Cost management
* Subcontractor management
* Progress claims and assessing variations
* Team management and training 

You are an experienced quantity surveyor of at least 10+ years coming from a main contractor or a hybrid of PQS/main contractor with a relevant tertiary degree. You are practical, are commercial, have an eye for detail, are adaptable and can confidently liaise across sub contractors, clients and consultants. 

This role offers a salary $150K - $170K pending experience
