Service Coordinator

Position Overview:

As a Service Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of their service department. You will be responsible for coordinating service appointments, managing stock control, fostering customer relationships, and promoting a safe and efficient workshop environment. Your efforts will directly contribute to the success and reputation of our client as a trusted service provider in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently plan and schedule service jobs using our tracker system. Contact customers for appointments and maintain the system accurately.

  • Build strong customer relationships by explaining regular servicing importance through the E10 report and convincing customers to agree to overdue services.

  • Ensure timely service job completion and prevent overstocking by managing branch stock, including parts, stock takes, and transfers.

  • Actively engage in our customer-focused team, encouraging feedback, sharing ideas, and participating in team activities.

  • Prioritize health and safety by exceeding statutory requirements, creating a safe environment, and taking corrective actions as needed.

  • Maintain a clean, well-presented workshop and uphold high standards for company assets, including vehicles, to project a positive image to customers and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Essential: NZCE in engineering and/or electrical.

  • Preferred: Degree Qualified in mechanical engineering and/or electrical.

Experience/Knowledge:

  • People management skills.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Three years of experience in a Technical Service role.

  • Experience in the Compressed Air/Vacuum market.

  • Familiarity with SAP computer systems.
