Ara Poutama Aotearoa (Department of Corrections) has an incredibly diverse asset portfolio of $2.8b across NZ and is undertaking significant change to enable new ways of working to achieve its new strategy, Hōkai Rangi. This strategy focuses on prioritising the wellbeing of both the people who come into their care and management, and of their whānau.

These roles arise from a commitment by Ara Poutama to invest in strengthening our strategic asset management capability and in project delivery which will form a key part of enabling the department to plan and deliver the assets and infrastructure which meets both immediate and strategic business demands.
