About WorkSafe

WorkSafe - Getting You Home Healthy and Safe

Working at WorkSafe means making a difference to the lives of millions of Kiwis. Over the past four years they have grown their capability and they are continuing to work to consolidate the organisation, ensuring that it has the internal skills, systems, tools, and technology needed.

WorkSafe is implementing the most significant reforms to workplace health and safety in more than 20 years. With over 550 staff based across New Zealand working to transform New Zealand’s health and safety performance, they are on track to reduce workplace fatalities and serious injuries by 25% by 2020.

Play a Pivotal Role in Positive Change

This positive change has created a number of opportunities to join a newly formed team responsible for major transformational change across the organisation, the core focus on digital transformation of its services. This is your chance to be in at the very beginning and play a pivotal, highly visible role in delivering the required outcomes. Although an established organisation, this new focus will have a start-up mentality to ensure the status-quo is challenged at every point.

WorkSafe actively encourages a healthy work-life balance. Flexible working hours and working from home are supported, and their Southern Cross work scheme provides reduced premiums in health insurance for their employees. WorkSafe is focused on creating a working environment where people are happy, healthy, and able to make a difference to the lives of New Zealanders.
