A Construction Planner is required to join a Tier 1 commercial contractor in Auckland and play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outcomes across complex $100M+ commercial projects.
You’ll be responsible for developing and managing precise construction programmes, contributing to strategic planning, and driving innovation in project execution. This is a rare opportunity to collaborate with a dynamic team, influence project success, and elevate planning standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage detailed construction programmes aligned with bid and delivery requirements liaising between tender and project teams
  • Provide clear guidance on sequencing, timeframes, and workflow optimisation
  • Develop and review construction methodologies and recommend alternatives to enhance efficiency
  • Monitor contractual programmes, track milestones, and support claims with robust documentation
  • Foster strong relationships through clear communication with internal teams, stakeholders, and clients
About You
You’re a strategic thinker with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for precision. You thrive in collaborative environments and bring a proactive mindset to every challenge. Your ability to translate complex construction requirements into actionable programmes sets you apart.

What You’ll Bring
  • Tertiary qualification in Construction or Project Management
  • 10+ years’ experience in construction planning, ideally within large or multi-project environments
  • Proven expertise in programme development, milestone tracking, and contractual planning
  • Advanced knowledge of P6 software or similar.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to align teams around shared goals and planning strategies

Remuneration: $140K - $160K
