We are looking for a skilled Data Engineer to work on cloud technologies, and support end‑to‑end migration delivery in Auckland. You will need to have worked with Snowflake, DBT, Power BI and Cloud Platforms (ideally AWS) as well as have strong ETL development experience.

About the role:

• You will be designing and developing source‑to‑target mapping models for complex data migration projects.
• Write and optimize SQL queries, with strong hands‑on experience in Snowflake.
• Implement and manage data ingestion pipelines using DBT.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL processes within a Snowflake cloud environment.
• Support various project phases including:
  • System Testing (ST)
  • System Integration Testing (SIT)
  • Dry Runs
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Leading up to successful production go‑live.

What We’re Looking For:

• Prior Data Engineer experience
• Snowflake, DBT, Power BI and ETL Development experience
• Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A proactive mindset with a commitment to ownership and quality
