We’re looking for a skilled DevOps Developer to help evolve on‑prem and cloud‑enabled engineering capabilities. If you enjoy automation, containerization, improving developer experience, and enhancing observability across complex systems, we’d love to hear from you. This is a contract role for 6 months with possible extensions.
About the role:
- Linux & Docker Management (On‑Prem)
- Setting up and maintaining on‑prem build and runtime agents
- Managing and optimising Linux-based environments and Docker workloads
- GitHub Enterprise Server (GHES), Automation & Pipelines
- Leading and supporting the migration to GHES, including identifying and removing technical impediments
- Enhancing and extending existing CI/CD automation, adding new capabilities and improving developer productivity
- Continuous Improvement
- Working with the team to improve and refine existing DevOps tooling, processes, and infrastructure
- Identifying opportunities to automate, streamline, and strengthen what has already been built
- Observability & Monitoring
- Improving the observability stack, including dashboards, monitoring, and alerting
- Bringing experience with tools such as Elastic, Kibana dashboards, or similar monitoring/alerting frameworks
