The Role:
Reporting into the Lead Auditor, this role is responsible for undertaking various audits of certifications, environmental management systems and accreditation programmes of businesses across a multitude of industries. With a mix of both on-site and off-site work, this role involved some travel to clients’ premises as required to perform auditing activities. As this is a client-facing role, you will have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Key Responsibilities In This Position Includes:
- Perform GHG verification audits in line with relevant ISO standards
- Make recommendations on clients’ environmental management plans
- Undertaking various audit activities including staff interviews
- Analysis of statistical data
- Establishing good client relationships through transparent and honest communication
About You:
Most important to our client is that you believe in their ethos of helping fight climate change and creating a sustainable future for generations to come. In addition, you will have 2+ years of experience in co-ordinating quality systems and have a good familiarity with sustainability issues in a variety of sectors. Your analytical skills coupled to your exposure to auditing activities will see you learn auditing techniques in this industry quite quickly. Working in a small team on multiple needs at a time will see your organisational and self-management skills put to good use. The passion and energy you have for the industry will see you provided with multiple opportunities to put it to use, contributing to the wider company strategies and initiatives.
