This main contractor is looking for a Factory Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of their interiors and distribution facility. You’ll oversee production planning, workflow, quality control, health & safety, and team leadership to ensure our joinery and interior fit‑out projects are delivered to the highest standard. This role is central to maintaining their reputation for precision, craftsmanship, and reliability.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage all factory operations, including production, scheduling, and distribution and delivery

Oversee a team of joiners, machinists, fabricators, and support staff, ensuring high performance and strong morale.

Maintain strict quality control standards

Ensure compliance with all health & safety regulations and promote a safe working culture.

Collaborate closely with project managers and site teams to meet project timelines and specifications.

Manage procurement of materials, stock levels, and supplier relationships.

Maintain machinery, equipment, and workshop infrastructure to minimise downtime.

Proven experience managing a manufacturing facility within the interiors, joinery, or construction sector.

Strong understanding of production processes, workshop machinery, and joinery fabrication.
