Financial Advisors are responsible for providing a high level of financial advice and information on financial planning including budgeting and forecasting; monitoring and reporting of financial results; and providing financial management advice on NZDF Financial policies and procedures to internal NZDF customers.
The role reports directly to the Team Leader Finance Service Delivery – Central/Southern Region. Finance Service Delivery supports NZDF customers that are located across New Zealand. This role services customers that are located across Royal New Zealand Air Force Ohakea. There is an expectation that the Financial Advisor will be required to be located with their customers at times.
Financial Advisors are required to maintain a high level of service and standard which includes supporting internal finance customers, such as Finance Business Partners as well as other NZDF finance teams. This is a critical role for NZDF and there is a requirement to train, coach and mentor assigned customers to ensure a high level of financial integrity is maintained.
