About the role:
This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join a dynamic and high-performing finance team. Reporting into senior leadership, you'll play a key role in shaping the organisation’s financial strategy through analysis, planning, and critical business insights. Your work will support key decision-makers across the organisation, including senior finance executives and the Board.
Duties:
- Prepare and deliver core financial performance reports and dashboards tailored for senior executives and governance groups.
- Support delivery of key financial milestones, including interim and year-end financial results.
- Lead and contribute to the annual operating plan and multi-year strategic planning processes.
- Participate in the design and execution of financial stress testing, including capital and scenario analysis across economic and regulatory dimensions.
- Support emerging focus areas such as climate-related financial risk assessments and scenario modelling.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional finance teams, including Risk, Treasury, Markets, and Business Management.
- Interpret and communicate financial data effectively, tailoring insights to different internal stakeholders and regulatory audiences.
- Continually look for opportunities to enhance processes, tools, and frameworks that improve the quality and efficiency of planning and analysis.
- CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) or near completion.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial analysis, planning, or strategy—ideally within financial services or banking.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present financial insights for a variety of audiences, including executive-level stakeholders.
- Experience working across complex finance environments, with the ability to understand interconnected financial and non-financial data.
- Strong collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work cross-functionally and influence key partners in areas such as risk, treasury, and commercial units.
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets and financial models.
- Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
