Opportunity for a Health, Safety & Environment Advisor in commercial construction.

This role is focussed on ensuring construction operations are carried out according to the regulatory and company WHSE requirement, and to promote a safety policy to ensure hazards are identified ,assessed, and mitigated prior to carrying out activities to staff and workers.

Key Accountabilities:

• Support the project team and workers to eliminate /minimize hazards
• Educate site workers on hazard identification
• Site inductions
• Toolbox meetings
• Build a strong safety culture
• Carry our weekly inspections, arrange audits 
• Review on site work practices
• Manager Return to Work Plans
• Maintain and keep safety records

To be successful in this role you will need to be qualified with a minimum of 2 years experience as an H&S Advisor or similar, have a working knowledge of WH&S Act, Regulations, Codes of practice- be well organised and can coach others.
