Reporting to the General Manager - People Culture Safety Property, this newly created role will bring together a highly talented and engaged group of professionals who can’t wait to have a fantastic new leader on board to guide them as they work together and provide seamless HR advice, support and services across Worksafe.

An exciting journey is already underway, as new technology is being implemented to enable the team, and wider business, to be more effective and have valuable and trusted information more readily available. As an exceptional leader, innovator, and strategic thinking individual you will bring together this diverse team and empower them to work in a united way to supports Worksafe to deliver our vision - that everyone who goes to work in NZ comes home healthy and safe.

As the Manager HR Operations, you will provide strong leadership (and be exemplar in demonstrating WorkSafe’s values) across the team’s HR functions which include:

  • Recruitment and Contractor support
  • HR Advice – including performance, development, engagement
  • Employment Relations
  • Remuneration
  • Payroll
  • HR analytics and reporting
  • Compliance processes (including Conflict of Interest registration and Employee Delegations
