Due to growth, they are now looking for an intermediate level project manager.
The role will see you being supported by a senior project manager and with appropriate mentoring, typically you will need to be able to:
- Establish the project through appointing consultants, producing feasibility reports, monitoring all statutory processes and advising on procurement options
- Project manage the construction phase, having responsibility for QA/risk, financial reporting, budget management/cost control, and programming
- Manage stakeholders and conduct and/or chair meetings
As a project manager, you will need to come from a project management consultancy background. You have 3 - 7 years of NZ/UK based experience with involvement on vertical projects across industries such as health, education and industrial and/or exposure to horizontal projects would be advantageous such as utilities and transportation. A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Building Science, is essential. Leadership qualities, a tenacious attitude and passion for what you do will make the cut in this environment. Your ability to articulate issues, harness relationships and build your own brand in the industry will enable success.
