Intermediate Quantity Surveyor - Density Resi

This established volume residential builder has been one of the most successful capitalising on a strong residential market over many years.. They work with private clients as well as Kainga Ora with social housing. covering a range of spec of townhouses, walkups and multi unit housing. The company have great support systems, strong trade and supplier relationships, and a cohesive team culture.


They now need to identify an intermediate QS to assist.

Reporting to the Commercial Manager, your role involves:


* Procurement/estimating
* Tender analysis
* Working in close partnership with project managers
* Contract administration
* Financial reporting and variations, project cost controls, reviewing project forecasts/work in progress


Key background:


* 4 + years of residential/group home builder experience including knowledge of NZ construction processes, exposure to high density multi-unit would be ideal
* Tertiary qualified in quantity surveying
* Outstanding communication and leadership skills
* Strong NZ Building Code knowledge
* Strong financial nous and business acumen
* Experienced in using cost management software 
* Accuracy


Salary $100K - $120K
