A leading corporate project management consultancy acting as maain contractor have built themselves on long standing relationships and significant word of mouth referrals. They have a strong forward work load and now requite a Junior PM to support the delivery. They have several blue chip clients on their client list. Projects are in the fit out and light commercial space with job values ranging between $100K - $7M with an average of $700K. With the support of a senior project manager, they require a switched on junior project manager to facilitate and co ordinate projects ensuring successful delivery.
The role primary focus is to represent and protect clients interests in project and cost management. It requires a mix of client meetings and presentations, contract admin, cost estimating, scopes of works, organizing sub trades, co ordination and managing projects. In essence this role is to support the current senior project managers on projects and also have the ability to undertake your own projects over time pending your skill set and experience.
As an applicant you ideally would have had some experience managing projects within the consultancy interiors and fit out sectors including base builds. ou may also be a site manager with a main contractor and be looking to step into a project manager role developing your skill set. You possess at least 3 - 5 years of experience and be either trade or tertiary qualified. Of most importance is your communication and relationship development skills as well as your ability to lead and drive projects.
This role offers $75K - $100K + Benefits.
