This is a well led medium size contractor with a strong and reputable brand covering all interior fit out and refurbishments for commercial and residential jobs. Given the variety of work, this presents as a great opportunity for a QS to diversify project experience and be involved in all stages of the process from estimating through final accounts.
As a QS you will be developing experience and being involved in the entire process both pre and post contract, from tender management and preparing estimates, post contract work including controlling all costs on projects, certifying subcontractors work, identifying variations, costing variation works, agreeing subcontractors final accounts and reporting to directors. There will be site visits involved.
As an applicant, you have:
- 6 months - 1 year of QS experience + tertiary qualified in Quantity Surveying
- You have highly developed communication and interpersonal skills
- Highly analytical
- A team player and a thirst to learn
Salary $60K - $75K
