Our Client and the role:
Michael Chhim and Peter Campbell are assisting a high-profile Crown Entity within their Finance and Performance team in recruiting for a Finance Business Partner. You will be reporting to the Head of Business Performance and Planning and will be the point of contact responsible for providing expert financial accounting advice.
The Finance Business Partner is responsibility for delivering the following:
Providing strategic financial and business insights
Assist the Business to understand the financial implications of operating decisions and develop plans to best utilise limited financial resources to achieve the organization’s strategic vision
Ensure that the Chief Financial Officer and Head of Performance and Planning are promptly informed of any material risks or issues in order to minimise the level of reactive responses
Actively monitor team and individual performance through reporting and drive results though regular collaborative coaching discussions to encourage the right outcomes achieved in the right way
Ideal candidate will have:
Significant experience in providing strategic financial insights and advice within a large multi-faceted organisation; including the ability to challenge the business to ensure value for money in all activities
Knowledge of budgeting, variance reporting, and cost accounting work within a large multi-faceted organisation beneficial
Sound planning, analytical and organisational skills, with a proven ability to prioritise and meet deadlines
