I am currently recruiting for an experienced Payroll Advisor, to hit the ground running in this busy team. Backfill a secondment, running end-to-end Payroll for approximately 1000 employees.
Other Duties Include:
- Use Ascender Pay to run end-to-end Payroll processing for up to 1000 employees on a monthly basis
- Assist with the administration of new hires, terminations, salary changes and other HR administration
- Calculate leave balances, ACC payments, taxation and various other pay related calculations
- Answer internal queries regarding pay and deductions
- Assist as necessary with a Payroll system upgrade and remediation process
Desired Experience:
- 5+ years experience in end-to-end Payroll, preferably with a large private or public sector organisation
- The ability to process end-to-end Payroll with minimal supervision, including an excellent knowledge of the ERA and Holidays Act
- Previous experience using Ascender Pay to process Payroll, or an ability to hit the ground running using new systems
