Preconstruction Senior QS

his is a well-established commercial Tier 2 construction company that has a strong reputation for delivering major high-rise and hotel projects from north to south Auckland. They are led by Directors with enthusiasm and passion for what they do. With 20 years of delivery, they have well established relationships with developers and private clients with a D&B focus.


They are now looking for a driven and motivated commercially minded senior QS/estimator that can step in and assist the Commercial Manager to price and estimate and then pass on to the site QS's .

The key focus of the role is to take an active role in managing the estimating tasks of the construction process from start to completion, the role requires precision estimating understanding margins,  This is not a tendering role but evaluating pricing and ensuring costings are correct. 


In order to be a success in this position, you must have at least 10 years of quantity surveyor and estimating experience across a range of commercial builds, ideally high rise as well as knowledge of the local market preferred, understanding rates and commercial construction legislation. You possess a relevant tertiary qualification.

Salary $160K - $200K commensurate with experience waits for the right candidate.
