Quantity Surveyor (Senior or Int/Senior)

This progressive commercial construction company have completed a wide range of commercial projects over their 20+ years duration. Due to successful tender wins plus preferred client projects ready to commence, they are now in need of an additional driven intermediate/senior or senior quantity surveyor to join their team. They are a collaborative, flatter structured employer with an enjoyable working environment. Directors are easy going, reasonable and value building a positive team culture. They have a mix of new projects in the $10M - $25M space coming online and you will be working across one or two projects, size dependant.

Working in this friendly team and reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will demonstrate a high level of integrity, excellent communication skills and ability to converse at all levels. You will be a QS who has strong experience in letting subcontractor packages in detail, financially managing projects, completing monthly payment claims, pricing and processing variations with minimal supervision. Ideally, you will have at least 6 - 8 years NZ QS experience in the commercial construction industry and have worked on diverse projects in the $5M - $20M region and come with relevant tertiary qualifications.
