• Senior COBOL Developer
• 12 month contract
• Auckland Based – 3 days on site and 2 days' Work from Home

A 12 month contract opportunity for an experienced COBOL Developer to join a financial sector client.

Key Requirements:

• Proven experience as a COBOL Developer with hands-on experience with IBM Mainframe, CICS, ObjectStar, DB2, OPC, JCL, and Endeavour.
• Experience with JIRA and ServiceNow
• Previous experience in the banking or financial industry

You will be responsible towards :

• Providing production support to ensure systems are available and reliable for customers.
• Assist the team in grooming the backlog and researching system, user, and environmental aspects of development to understand features and services.
• Manage linkages, dependencies, and outcomes to avoid unexpected business consequences.

You must be in New Zealand with the legal right to work.
