My client is looking for a Senior Business Accountant. The role performs financial management support functions for their allocated Business Group working with General Managers, Managers, Team Leaders, and the wider Finance team.
You will undertake timely financial management reporting and analysis (including monthly, quarterly and year end reporting), and manages the financial aspects of the planning process for their Business Group including in-year forecasts and 10-30 year budgets that support the Group’s work programme.
The role adds value through providing strategic and financial advice, input to the strategic plan, leading the financial planning and budgeting process, preparing the capex plan, developing structured business cases, providing accurate financial reporting and management information, preparing analysis and insights and maintaining up to date forecasts.
Qualifications, skills and experience:
- Proven experience in management accounting to internal and external agencies
- Chartered Accountant with 5-7 years’ accounting experience
- Advanced spreadsheets, building and maintaining Excel workbooks
- A sound knowledge of and experience using integrated financial packages (preferably SAP, Technology One)
