Senior SAP Hybris Developer – 6-Month Contract (Remote role)
Location: New Zealand Fully Remote
Duration: 6 Months (with potential for extension)
We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP Hybris Developer to join an exciting project with a leading NZ organisation. This role offers remote flexibility across New Zealand.
You will be responsible for hands-on development, unit testing, and supporting upgrade and migration initiatives. This is a key role in a collaborative, agile team environment where your technical expertise and communication skills will be highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:

Independent coding and unit testing using SAP Hybris

Participate in scrum meetings and work closely with stakeholders onshore & offshore

Analyse and troubleshoot issues; perform root cause analysis

Design and develop medium-complexity modules
-
Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality

Support application deployment and provide post-deployment validation
Required Skills & Experience:
-
6+ years of hands-on SAP Hybris development experience
-
Strong understanding of core Hybris modules: product, price, order, backoffice, etc.

Experience with cloud migration and upgrades of SAP Commerce

Familiar with Spring framework

Strong debugging, testing, and documentation skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Bonus Skills:

Experience in upgrade and migration projects
Ability to support offshore teams and flexible time zone collaboration
