As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining, evolving, and supporting core infrastructure systems.
Your responsibilities will span several key areas:
- Design, implement, and support VMware virtual environments.
- Manage HP storage and networking infrastructure to ensure peak performance and reliability.
- Configure and maintain WatchGuard firewalls and F5 load balancers to support secure and efficient traffic flow.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes, with a focus on OpenShift platforms
- Carry out hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance in a data centre environment.
- Ensure continuous operation by monitoring and maintaining the physical infrastructure.
- Administer and support both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Proven hands-on experience with VMware infrastructure.
- Strong knowledge of HP compute, storage, and networking technologies.
- Proficient in configuring and maintaining WatchGuard firewalls and F5 load balancers.
- Experience working with container platforms, ideally OpenShift.
- Solid background in data centre operations, including hardware installation and maintenance.
- Strong understanding of both Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Clear and confident communicator, skilled at building strong working relationships.
- Self-motivated with a proactive mindset, while also thriving in team environments.
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on delivering high-quality outcomes.
