I am currently recruiting for an experienced, Senior Payroll Advisor, to join a small dynamic team, based in Wellington CBD.
This team of four process end-to-end, medium sized Payroll on a fortnightly/monthly pay-run, using PayGlobal.
Duties Include:
- End-to-end Payroll for employees on a fortnightly and monthly basis
- Apply and interpret relevant NZ Payroll legislation, including the Holidays Act and relevant Collective Employment Agreements
- Load new starters, variations and leavers, into the PayGlobal system, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in data collection and maintenance
- Reporting and reconciliation of Payroll audit and variance reports, with amendments if necessary
- Act as part of a team to provide a full, seamless end-to-end Payroll process
What You Will Bring:
- 4-5 years experience in a Payroll position, up to Advisory level, with the confidence to hit the ground running in end-to-end Payroll
- Previous experience working with the PayGlobal system, or any other system that is similar, with an ability to pick up new systems quickly
- Strong ability to learn new processes and collective agreements, with experience approving payruns preferred
