You are an experienced Senior Policy Advisor who can work across a range of projects. You’ll be comfortable diving in where required to provide input into key projects.

You need to have:
- extensive experience in public policy, including working on primary legislation and regulation – 3+ years
- a thorough understanding of the machinery of central government
- a good understanding of economic principles and the New Zealand economy
- familiarity with New Zealand's legal framework and the principles of statutory interpretation
- curiosity and a drive to learn
- team player qualities that will aid building a positive team environment
- an understanding of Te Teriti o Waitangi and the Treaty principles
- the legal right to live and work in New Zealand
