One of the global QS firms are gearing up for an influx of work across some of their major clients. Key project areas are airports, rail, water, and roading projects. They are at the forefront of professional quantity surveying and offer the best in structured career advancement. As a QS you will get the opportunity to work across diverse infrastructure projects. Due to increase in work load, they are looking to bolster their team with a Senior QS.
You will need to be a degree qualified Quantity Surveyor with at least 10+ years work experience and the last 3 years spent in NZ within a reputable professional consultancy. However, if you are working with a contractor presently but have previous to that have worked with a consultancy and wish to return - then this could be the opportunity for you.
You will need to be able to manage projects - including producing quality cost estimates and have excellent client liaison skills. Other skill areas include variations, feasibility studies, scheduling, managing risk and defining costs.
In return for your efforts, a competitive market salary is on offer of between $160K and $180K, plus additional benefits and ongoing training.
