As they gear up for new building developments, they require a Senior Project Manager to work on the construction of walk ups, managing early civil works, RC, design coordination through to the construction delivery phase to hand over.
Reporting to a PM, your key accountabilities are:
- Management of the entire project from early planning, design coordination, council compliance, build methodology, programming through to construction delivery and handover
- Monitoring of all processes in order to ensure the highest quality of work is produced, cost reporting, leading PCG Meetings, and H&S Management.
- Full stakeholder management, subcontractor management, council coordination, supplier management and overseeing site teams.
Key background for this role requires:
- 10+ years experience in the multi residential/commercial construction/building industry in NZ with a carpentry trade background or tertiary qualification.
- Experience across $10M+ multi-unit housing projects plus subdivisional experience for housing developments
- Understanding of 3910 contracts, RFIs, Variations, EOT’s.
- Solid leadership ability and ability to manage a site team
- Strong organisational and time management skills as well as strong problem-solving ability
- Well experienced in successfully developing and managing a construction programme
- Health and Safety leadership
Remuneration - $150K - $170K + vehicle pending experience
