This is an innovative interiors and general main contractor that have been operating in the Auckland market for 20 years. They are a stable contractor and have endured the peaks and troughs relatively well. They have an upcoming need for a site manager to take responsibility for a $4M re-clad project based in central Auckland.
What this contractor are looking for:
- 5+ years commercial construction experience with experience in reclads ideal
- Trade qualified
- Strong subcontractor management skills, including resolving site issues and keeping the project moving forward
- Materials ordering, good cost awareness, can interface with a QS
- Experience in supervising, motivating and leading teams
- Strong programme management strength and experience with MS Project
- Experience in assessing and managing HSE on a commercial construction project
- Ability to engage a client PM and maintain a positive front
Beyond this project they a good pipeline with several others looking to be awarded. This role would suit an applicant with enthusiasm and a positive attitude that can fit seamlessly into the team dynamic
Salary: $110K - $120K + a vehicle
