This known Tier 2 commercial construction company are about to tackle their one of their latest projects. A complex and sophisticated $150M commerical build in Auckland. They have good structures in place to develop their people, they drive a hard working high performance work environment, and enjoy a social and close knit team culture.
This is an opportunity for a qualified structural engineer to grow with a commercial construction company. Key background is that you are currently working with a main contractor and feel you are due for a more challenging project. This role has a high level of responsibility and has excellent prospects for advancement to project management.
You will be working closely with project managers and supervisors with significant back up and support. Some of the role will involve, reviewing drawings, inspecting sites liaising with sub contractors and planning, scheduling and providing technical engineering advice. Some wider site management tasks will also be part of your role.
This role would suit an applicant with 8+ years of structural and reinforced concrete experience gained in a consultancy and main contractor and with relevant civil engineering tertiary qualifications. You have outstanding analytical ability and strong CAD knowledge. You have top local construction knowledge, naturally you are an effective communicator.
This role comes with an outstanding remuneration package, $130K - $145K package.
