About the Role
This is a full-time permanent position working largely across our Enterprise customers. We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Solution Architect - Storage & Backup to join our dynamic team.
What you'll do for us
- Analyse business requirements and design storage architectures that meet customer needs.
- Implement and manage storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and cloud storage.
- Evaluate and select storage hardware and software vendors.
- Stay updated on emerging storage and backup technologies and industry trends.
- Assess current storage capacity and plan for scalability.
- Optimize storage systems for performance and cost-effectiveness.
What you'll bring in your Kit bag
- At least ten years IT industry experience.
- In-depth knowledge and practical experience with a variety of storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, DAS, and cloud storage solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in evaluating and selecting storage hardware and software vendors based on performance, reliability, and cost considerations.
- Hands-on experience implementing and managing data protection strategies, including backup, replication, and disaster recovery.
- Familiarity with compliance requirements related to data storage and security.
- Certifications from major storage technology vendors (e.g., EMC, NetApp, HPE) and relevant industry certifications are highly desirable.
