This is a Monday to Friday (8am to 4.30pm) operation and there will also be a requirement to work every second Saturday (8.30am to 12noon). And in case you are concerned about missing public holiday weekends, there is no need to worry, they don't open those weekends.

What does the role look like?
  • Develop and maintain customer relationships in the counter sales process - this is key!
  • Generate invoices, follow up on quotes and purchase orders
  • Processing customer returns and credits accurately, ensuring accuracy of stock-counts
  • Keeping an eagle eye on inventory levels
  • Miscellaneous other admin tasks
Who is going do well in this role? What do you need to bring?
  • Ideally you will have some sort of trades background - think: metalwork tools, machinery, woodworking.....
  • Advanced customer service skills
  • Counter sales experience
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft applications, POS, inventory programmes)
  • The ability to multi-task
The team enjoy a relaxed and fun culture - it is a social place and the team all pitch in to help each other out. If you like to fly solo, this may not be the role for you.

This role has access to a bonus scheme based on sales made. Car parking is provided. And the hours of work are great - 4.30pm finishes!

Please apply ONLINE today via this portal. Please also ensure you submit a cover letter which outlines why you feel you might be a great fit for the role. Any questions regarding the role can be sent to rob.malpass@beyond.co.nz

To be considered for this role you will need to have either New Zealand citizenship or residency.
