What you will be responsible for:
- Review and understand industry and global trends for the industry
- Monitor and analyse key competitor activity, including pricing and promotional activity
- Provide timely support as key point of contact for the branch network and supplier partners
- Ensure prompt action and responses to branch, sales, or customer queries
- Develop and maintain promotional plans in conjunction with the wider team
- Overall provide support to the Category Manager for all category activities
Our ideal candidate for the role:
- Have proven administration or coordination experience
- Ideally a background in category, construction, distribution, or even marketing
- Provide an innovative approach
- Have strong analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- System savvy and be highly proficient with MS Office
- Currently already living in New Zealand and have full working rights
