About the Role
We’re looking for a skilled Integration Engineer with hands-on experience in IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower for a 3 month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and integrate IBM API Connect in a complex enterprise setting
- Work with IBM DataPower Gateways to manage and secure APIs
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams across Linux and VMware platforms
- Develop and troubleshoot XML-based policies, configurations, and service definitions
- Design and implement API security, traffic management, and monitoring solutions
- Create technical documentation and deliver knowledge transfer sessions to internal teams
Skills & Experience Required
- Proven experience with IBM API Connect and IBM DataPower
- Strong understanding of API Gateway architecture, security policies, and lifecycle management
- Proficiency in XML, XSLT, and related technologies
- Solid background in Linux system administration and VMware environments
- Experience in large enterprise environments with complex integration needs
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with RESTful API design and OpenAPI specifications
- Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns and middleware best practices
