About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in Power BI, SQL, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) to join a busy project team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on transforming raw data into meaningful insights and enjoys collaborating across business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Modeling: Design and build efficient data models in Power BI, ensuring accurate relationships and optimized performance
- Report & Dashboard Development: Create interactive, visually compelling dashboards that tell a story and drive decision-making
- Data Integration: Connect and unify data from diverse sources including databases, APIs, and flat files
- Data Transformation: Use Power Query and DAX to clean, shape, and prepare data for analysis
- Collaboration: Partner with business stakeholders, data scientists, and IT teams to validate requirements and ensure data accuracy
- Performance Optimization: Enhance existing Power BI solutions for speed, usability, and scalability
- User Support & Training: Provide training and support to end users to maximize the value of Power BI tools
Skills & Experience Required
- 5+ years experience in data engineering or BI development
- Expertise in Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and SQL
- Experience with Snowflake and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
- Strong understanding of data modeling, transformation, and integration best practices
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
