The Role

The GIS Team are on the hunt for a special person to help them be the individual of everything ARC GIS Enterprise. Ideally you would be the “go to” for any of the platform data, backups, updates etc. You would have the opportunity to consider the future of how it is used for the Organisation and also drive the improvement strategy with the help of your leaders.

Key Skillsets
  • 7+ years of experience with GIS software.
  • Strong Experience as an ARC GIS Enterprise Administrator with lots of hands on heavy technical knowledge.
  • Be strategic in your thinking and be able to use your initiative to create improvements.
  • Experience delivering maps, imagery, reports, geospatial workspace and data capture/collection training, presentation and applications to staff, contract partners and external customers.
Demonstrated working knowledge and experience in:
  • Up to date and working knowledge of ESRI environments required (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online and Mobility).
  • ESRI’s Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online to deliver TCDC web bases and systems internally and externally.
  • ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Pro, and ArcGIS Desktop (including extensions).
  • Understanding of SQL Server or related RDBMS skills.
  • Administration and maintenance of ArcGIS Server and web applications.
  • Principles of web-based application development and deployment.
  • .Net, Python, JavaScript, SQL, FME, Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
  • Embedding a continuous improvement culture in geospatial processes, systems and applications.
  • Experience and understanding of delivery using Agile Scrum methodology
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Geography, and or related field.
  • Desirable Masters in Geospatial / Computer Science or equivalent master’s degree level of qualification.
