About the Role
As the Senior Portfolio Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring organisational initiatives are strategically aligned, well-governed, and effectively prioritised. You’ll support enterprise-wide planning, provide clear performance insights, and partner closely with project, program, and executive leaders.
You’ll be responsible for portfolio analysis, financial tracking, reporting, and supporting the governance rhythms that keep our most important work on track.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead portfolio analysis, planning cycles, and performance reporting.
- Prepare high-quality executive packs, dashboards, and facilitation material for governance forums.
- Support strategic planning, prioritisation, and resource forecasting across the organisation.
- Partner with PMO, Finance, and business leaders to ensure investment alignment and delivery transparency.
- Maintain and improve portfolio processes, standards, and documentation.
- Track financials, benefits, risks, and dependencies across the portfolio.
- Proven exposure to strategic planning, resource forecasting, and enterprise planning cycles.
- Proficiency with portfolio/project management tools (MS Project, Clarity, Planview, or similar).
- Advanced Excel capability and strong data visualisation skills (Power BI or similar).
- Solid understanding of financial management principles, budgeting, and cost tracking.
