About the role
Working on an exciting nationwide initiative to deliver a modern, seamless public transport payment solution. As part of this transformation, we are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of the programme’s Data Strategy across multiple agencies and stakeholders.

You’ll ensure that ticketing and payments data is:

• Well‑governed and appropriately managed across organisations
• Accessible and high‑quality for analytics and operational use
• Privacy‑compliant and aligned with legislation and best practice
• Usable and insightful, helping drive transport system planning, operational efficiency, and better customer outcomes

You will be working across a complex national ecosystem involving technology teams, regional transport authorities, policy specialists, and the national ticketing service provider.

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience delivering large, multi‑stakeholder or national‑scale programmes
• Strong background in data governance, data operations, or data strategy execution
• Exceptional project management capability, with the ability to influence, negotiate, and drive alignment
• Understanding of digital payment systems, public transport, or complex service delivery environments (advantageous)
• Ability to navigate technical, operational, and policy considerations
• A collaborative leadership style and the confidence to operate across senior levels
