Lead Cloud Operations & Service Excellence

Reporting to the GM of ICT, you’ll ensure cloud platforms are secure, reliable, and operating efficiently while leading a small technical team to deliver consistent operational outcomes.
About the Role
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for IT operational performance, cloud platform reliability, and security compliance.
You will:
- Lead day-to-day IT operations, including incident and service management
- Operate and maintain cloud platforms aligned to approved architecture
- Implement and oversee cloud security controls and compliance activities
- Monitor service performance, reliability, and operational metrics
- Coordinate vendors and managed service providers
- Lead and develop a small team of technical specialists
- Drive continuous improvement across IT operations
You are a practical and capable IT leader who enjoys improving systems, strengthening security, and building high-performing teams.
You’ll bring:
- 5+ years’ experience in IT infrastructure or operations
- 3+ years working in cloud engineering with a strong security focus
- Experience managing cloud platforms in enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of IT service management practices
- Proven people leadership and team development skills
- Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities
- Microsoft Azure administration certification (AZ-104 or similar)
- Experience with Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) and Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g. Terraform)
- Vulnerability management experience
- Familiarity with security frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS
