This is an interiors main contractor that have been successful in building their brand profile in the Auckland market. They are specialists in delivering the most challenging and complex refurbishments projects working with international brands and corporates with sizable commercial premises. They have a clear strategy to continue to take on more projects in this area. While most of their jobs are in the $3M - $5M category, several are higher at $15M.

Due to a new projects being awarded, they now require a switched an intermediate project manager to facilitate and coordinate the delivery of projects.

You will be a support to senior PM’s and this role will involve managing site progress, ensuring OSH compliance, ensuring all CCC document compliance , scheduling sub-contractor to sites, helping to update construction programmes, assisting QS’s with variations, tendering, and claims, managing   contract communications, issuing drawing to subcontractors, and liaising with clients.

You will be as well progressively   managing your own projects including being responsible for programming and cost management.

As an applicant you will have had experience working within the NZ interiors/fitout/light commercial sector, ideally tertiary qualified and as well able to manage financial aspects in conjunction with a QS.

You have strong organisation skills, attention to detail and can successfully manage a number of internal and external relationships.

This role offers a competitive package up to $90K - $120K   pending experience and an opportunity to grow into full project management.
