About the Role:
Our client who is a global provider of software and services to the energy, water and communications industries is looking for Associate Java Developers to join their team.
Skills Required:
To be successful, you must demonstrate software development skills appropriate to level of role, strong troubleshooting, tracing and debugging skills and experience and/or a willingness to code to complicated business requirements, and implementation to technical specifications.
An ideal applicant will have the following skills:
- Minimum 2-3 years experience with strong Java knowledge
- Java or Java EE Certified
- Knowledge of typical patterns, core libraries and frameworks
- Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Implementation skills
- Working SQL Knowledge
- Demonstrably strong skills in Enterprise Java, including
- Java Application Server technologies, including JSF 2 with Primefaces
- Spring and Hibernate
- Java messaging (e.g., ActiveMQ)
- integration technologies including REST and OpenAPI
- Comfortable working with legacy back-end when needed
- Experienced and comfortable with Eclipse as the main IDE
- Working in an Agile environment (JIRA)
- Current Windows experience and know your way around Linux with reasonable scripting skills
