About the Role:

Our client who is a global provider of software and services to the energy, water and communications industries is looking for Associate Java Developers to join their team.

Skills Required:

To be successful, you must demonstrate software development skills appropriate to level of role, strong troubleshooting, tracing and debugging skills and experience and/or a willingness to code to complicated business requirements, and implementation to technical specifications.

An ideal applicant will have the following skills:

  • Minimum 2-3 years experience with strong Java knowledge
  • Java or Java EE Certified
  • Knowledge of typical patterns, core libraries and frameworks
  • Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Implementation skills
  • Working SQL Knowledge
  • Demonstrably strong skills in Enterprise Java, including
  • Java Application Server technologies, including JSF 2 with Primefaces
  • Spring and Hibernate
  • Java messaging (e.g., ActiveMQ)
  • integration technologies including REST and OpenAPI
  • Comfortable working with legacy back-end when needed
  • Experienced and comfortable with Eclipse as the main IDE
  • Working in an Agile environment (JIRA)
  • Current Windows experience and know your way around Linux with reasonable scripting skills
